Angel One Fund has invested in six domestic defence tech startups
Other News
The UVCA member Angel One Venture Fund recently reported on its latest results. Despite being relatively young, it has managed to invest already in six Ukrainian defence and dual-use technology startups through syndication deals including:
Swarmer. Creating a swarm of drones.
Mantis Analytics. AI for real-time risk identification.
Buntar Aerospace. Production of Buntar One reconnaissance UAVs and Buntar Copilot software for planning and executing reconnaissance missions.
Although the Angel One Fund's internal guidelines prohibit it from investing directly in military products, the fund's team found a way around this by acting as an intermediary between interested private investors and startups.
In addition, according to the fund's managing partner, Ivan Petrenko, Angel One Fund has recently raised a new round of $1 million and is preparing to invest it starting this summer.
