For the first time investments in Ukrainian startups and IT companies have reached a half-billion mark in a year.The total volume of venture investments into Ukrainian IT companies has reached $510M, which is one and a half times more than the maximum of 2018

Yoram Wijngaarde – Founder and CEO of Dealroom.co.Dealroom.co is Europe's largest startup and venture capital database. It provides rich data, analysis and research on tech companies, tracks and benchmarks of nearly 1 million tech companies worldwide, and connects their founders with nearly 100,000 professional investors. Previously Yoram worked for 10 years in investment banking, advising media, telecom and internet companies.


Roman Nikitov – a head of the venture and tech investments at ICU Ventures.

Roman managed some of the biggest restructuring projects in the Ukrainian market, including more than $1 billion restructuring of a large-scale agricultural holding. Roman had a 15-year career in investment banking.ICU Ventures - Ukrainian venture capital fund with the 10М-50М capital under management. One of the most active investors in Ukraine. Invested in such startups: Petcube, Hideez, Apostera and 3DLook, also in startups associated with Ukraine: Xelba, Good Money, Smart Commerce. In 2020, ICU Ventures together with other investors, has already invested in Ukrainian startup Respeecher, which creates digital models of human voices.


Moderator of the event is Michael Buryk, a 40-year veteran of the U.S. advertising and publishing industry withexperience in management, product development, sales and strategic planning. He is currently the president of hisown media consulting firm, M Buryk Associates. Mike is also the host and producer of Made in Ukraine Tech StartupEdition, a monthly English-language podcast series covering investment in Ukraine and the global expansion of itstechnology product and software companies. And, he is a freelance writer on Ukraine technology startups and thelocal ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation. His articles appear on Ukrainian Digital News, TechUkraine, and other online business news sites.
