Ukraine-American Investment & Development Co. (UAID Fund LP) is a U.S.-based, principal-led investment platform deploying capital into two pillars: Ukrainian middle-market real estate developments with cash flow generation within one year, and defence and dual-use technology innovation.

Approximately $5 million of principal capital is currently being deployed across both pillars as the foundation for a broader institutional investment platform.

In real estate, UAID works with reputable local developers providing senior or mezzanine debt, preferred equity and similar structures to help finance projects with adequate collateral and guarantees. A signature project was co-funding the reconstruction of Irpin's iconic Giraffe Mall, destroyed in the early days of the full-scale invasion in 2022, but completely rebuilt and reopened with an impressive array of national and international tenants in December 2024.

Within the defence technology sector, UAID expects to complete approximately four to six initial investments over the next twelve months, partnering alongside experienced venture investors active in the Ukrainian defence innovation ecosystem. They typically participate as a minority co-investor, supporting rounds led by established venture funds. Through an affiliate, UAID’s principal has invested with VC funds D3, Green Flag Ventures, Defense Builder and Dark Star.
