After the Ukraine Tech Pavilion at CES has closed its doors, on January 15, 2019 UVCA, together with our member Orrick, held a Ukrainian pitching and networking event at Orrick's San Francisco office.

This evening event took place for the second year in a row, and it should be noted that the interest of the audience to Ukrainian startups has increased.Among the guests of the event were the representatives of large technology companies, local startups and investors. We were also joined by the member of UVCA Supervisory Board - Vitaly Golomb, who is a сo-Founder and Managing Partner at GS Capital.

Ukrainian startups who took part in the event were:

• Pix Backpack - smart customizable backpack which appearance can be customized from your mobile device.

• Nuka - "eternal" notebook and pencil. The notepad is made of special waterproof paper, and the pencil is made of an alloy of five metals.

• Jollylook - vintage instant cameras made from recyclable materials.

• Cardiomo - continuous real-time medical-grade cardiac monitor that can help prevent life threatening events by early alerts for medical attention and ensuring better health through preventive care.

• Fishball - a clip-on lens attachment that turns smartphone into a 360° camera.

• - a technological company that creates smart devices for the body and complex systems for interacting with digital and real worlds.
