The first day of the exhibition was marked by the visits of several significant delegations, for example, from the US House of Representatives (the lower house of the US Congress).

The way the day ended, was no less magical than it began. The participants of the Trade Mission were invited to the European Night at CES 2023, an event organized jointly by the European Commission and EIC - The European Innovation Council, with the participation of representatives of the European National Pavilions at CES 2023.

The event began with a welcome speech by Consumer Technology Association (CTA) Vice President John T. Kelley and continued with speeches by high-ranking representatives of the European Commission and the European Innovation Council: Director of the European Commission's Executive Agency for European Innovation Council and SMEs Jean-David Malo, Prince of Orange- Nassau & the Netherlands, Leader at Techleap.nl, Co-founder of StartupFestEurope Constantijn Van Oranje-Nassau, Director ITA New York and Coordinator of the ITA Network in the US Antonino Laspina. The event was moderated by Ms. Stephanie Selesnick, President of International Trade Information, Inc.

The official part ended with presentations by European startups, one from each country. Oleksandr Ryabtsev represented Ukraine, presented the SolarPlex project, and assured the Europeans that their energy security is on us!

The event ended with great networking, everyone got to know each other and discuss possible cooperation as well as future partnership. True European unity!

Ukraine did become a member of the European Union this evening. Even if only within the premises where this event was held!
