Ukrainian PE & VC Summit 2024: Meet the VC Panel

This time, we are bringing you more details about the topic that is a part of the meeting’s name itself. Meet the speakers of the Venture Capital Panel who will speak about the current situation, developments, and opportunities in this mesmerizing field.

• Roman Nikitov. Director at ICU Ventures

ICU is an independent multi-strategy investment group specializing in emerging and frontier markets. Roman leads the group's venture capital arm, one of Ukraine’s biggest venture funds. ICU Ventures invested over $60 mln into 30 startups since 2018.

• Sandra Golbreich. General Partner at Baltic Sandbox Ventures

Baltic Sandbox Ventures is a VC that supports early-stage Deep Tech and Life Science startups in Northern Europe. For the past several years, Sandra has been actively engaged in lecturing activities, working with students, business managers, and corporate innovators in BMI, ISM University of Management and Economics, Vilnius University Business School, and others.

• Łukasz Wawak. General Manager at Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge

PUSB is a project, implemented by the Cooperation Fund Foundation in 2018 to connect promising Ukrainian technology companies with the Polish innovation support ecosystem. Lukasz manages Co-work PUSB in which 27 Ukrainian startups are located. Also, he runs an acceleration program for Ukrainian companies entering the Polish and EU markets (a total of 30 companies by 2023).

• Lukasz Dziekonski. CEO and Managing Partner of Montis Capital

Łukasz is focused on equity investments in infrastructure, energy, and the transport sector. He also served as a director in the largest bank in the CEE region — Bank PKO BP S.A., coordinating activities in the infrastructure and new technologies and supporting foreign investments of the Bank in the CEE region. A frequent speaker at many conferences and workshops, concerning infrastructure, PPP, VC, and new technologies.
