Other News
On June 28 - 30, mayors and corporate representatives from the UK, Ukraine, the US, Vietnam, and Korea met at the OXYGEN Summit in Liverpool, organized in partnership with Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA).

This Summit aimed to leverage the collective expertise, knowledge, and resources of a select grouping of global cities to develop replicable models of future cities that can be implemented in a post-war Ukraine. It gathered the high-level delegates from the public and private sectors of Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the EU, South Korea and Vietnam, to discuss how to transform our cities to become more sustainable, environmentally friendly, business friendly, innovation friendly and people centric.
The inevitable part of the Smart City Oxygen Summit was the established collaboration between Korea and Ukraine which was followed by a memorandum signed between Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) Dmytro Kuzmenko and the Korean delegation.

Several important steps were taken during the Summit:
the launch of ‘Global TWIN CITIES Initiative’, a model of successful Public Private Partnership (PPP) as2/2a multilateral city platform that can break the existing framework and realize the prosperity and development of common cities and realistic implementation of COP27;
signing of MoU between the participants, including MoU between Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) and Korean Ukraine New-Building Association (KUNBA);
presentation of the delegation of Ukrainian startups and their Smart City and Sustainable Development Solutions - Kitsoft 🇺🇦, JEVERA, SolarPlex, Carbominer Ukraine, PLATMA, UBOS, Discoperi and BOSECO Energy;
visit to Liverpool Science Park and MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre.
A number of future opportunities for cooperation and joint efforts to restore Ukraine were discussed with representatives of local authorities and foreign guests. Several next steps and ambitious projects are planned.

It's time for new challenges and achievements.
We would like to thank Jaewon Peter Chun for his guidance and dedication, Paul Kallee-Grover MBE for his support, Quincy Quayson and Charlie Whitford for their hospitality (despite the weather in Liverpool), Bas van Beers, and Kemal Farid for interesting discussions.
