Private Equity Insights Conference Takeaways
Other News
On May 23 UVCA had a chance to visit one of the largest CEE PE conferences, organized by Private Equity Insights in Warsaw. The meeting traditionally gathered GPs and LPs from our region to share the latest data and developments in private equity, which is something we are very interested in. Our association representative on-site Vladimir Pyrozhenko from AVentures Capital made a small photo report and several takeaways for followers. Here are the notes.
Compared to the last year, PE conditions in 2024 are more favorable. We hope the tendency will continue;
The most popular PE verticals for investors right now are Technology, Software & Digital solutions, and Pharma & Healthcare;
The majority of private equity professionals still believe that most companies are overvalued;
One day sustainability will be on the radar but for now, it’s not the priority;
PE firms, especially big ones, are starting to implement AI to analyze their portfolio and potential investments but the old ways are still relevant.
Thanks a lot to the Private Equity Insights team for the invitation and quality content! We hope to see you next time.
