Our biggest event of the year — the PE & VC Summit — is next week already! This time we present you the Institutional Investors panel, where you’ll get an overview of existing institutional funding programs for businesses, funds themselves, investment protection, and risk reduction. Meet the speakers.

• Barbara Nowakowska. Managing Director of PSIK.

Formerly, Barbara was an expert on Polish private equity and venture capital for the European Commission and also served as a Member of the Governing Board at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. Besides, she is a board member of Valores Foundation, Poland’s first venture philanthropy fund.

• Piotr Matczuk. Country Head, Poland at International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group.

Piotr leads the $2 billion IFC’s activities in Poland, with over 17 years of experience in developmental finance and banking. Previously, he supervised the execution of strategic projects at the Polish railways and served as an advisor to the EBRD Board of Directors.

• Eliza Kruczkowska. Director of Innovation Development at Polish Development Fund.

Eliza coordinates the largest startup development program in CEE. She is also a member of the Startup Europe Group of Advisors to the European Commission and the College of Advisors to the President of the Centrum Łukasiewicz. More than 12 years of relevant international experience.

• Iliya Mihov. Equity Investment Officer at European Investment Bank (EIB).

In the past, Iliya was Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria (FMFIB) and EBRD. His knowledge includes Fund Of Funds, Emerging Markets, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Investments.

• Karol Tofil. Head of International Business and Partnerships Office at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.

Karol has extensive knowledge of international trade and investment, specializing in EU affairs.

• Aziza Zakhidova. Senior member of the VC Team at EBRD.

Before EBRD Aziza worked in strategy consulting in the US, advising TMT clients. Her profile includes experience in investment banking, specifically UBS in London.
